I'm stepping up against cancer!

As a parent all you want to do is protect your child. What happens when there is nothing you can do. What happens when control lies in the hands of others.

This is what happens when you are told your child has cancer. You can't take away the cancer. You can't stop the pain, the sickness or the fear that they feel. You can't tell them that everything will be ok, because you simple don't know what tomorrow will bring.  All you can do is hold them and tell them that you love them.

I relay in the hope that one day no parent will ever have to hear those words again. "Your child has cancer". Together we can work towards a cancer free future.
