Every Step for Mum 💜

This year, I’m taking part in Relay For Life for a reason that is incredibly close to my heart 💜

In February this year, my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Since then, she has shown incredible strength, recovering from a brain bleed and swelling, which was a very scary time for our family. She is now beginning the next stage of her journey with six weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy 💪

Watching someone you love go through this is something you can never fully prepare for. Cancer doesn’t just impact the person diagnosed, it affects their whole family, their friends, and everyone around them 💜

That’s why this year, every step I take is for my mum, and for every family going through something similar.

I’ll be taking on the Relay For Life in Bunbury, and I’m setting myself the challenge of walking for the full 24 hours, from 10am on October 31st through to 10am on November 1st 🚶‍♀️ It’s going to be tough, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people, including my mum, are facing every day.
