I'm riding my bike for Cancer!

This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for every person who’s ever heard the words: “you have cancer”.
In April this year I heard those words and my immediate thoughts were WHY ME! I am fit and healthy. I need to do so much more in my life. How can I have the same cancer that both my parents and brother died from.
Thankfully for me my diagnosis for Throat Cancer after many tests and tonsils removed came back benign.
Cancer is devastating disease for so many. For people living with cancer, treatments can be long and stressful and the future can be unscertain so we need to find new ways to better detecty and treat cancer.
But with your support, I hope to help as many people impacted by cancer as possible.
My ride for relay is a 400km 5 day with 4300 metres of elevation mountain bike ride around the South Burnett region in Qld. All money raised going to Cancer Council Queensland to support individuals and families struggling with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Thank you for stepping up. Together we'll make powerful strides again cancer!
