I'm stepping up against cancer!

I greatly appreciate Angelo's initiatve in organizing a team for the Relay for Life at Joondalup on 25th October. 

 It has been four years since Helen's passing.  The name of the team is "Live for Helen" and so it is an opportunity for many memories of her wonderful life.  On the day we will also remember others we know who have been affected by cancer.  

There are various ways that family and friends can contribute.  By donations of course.  Or by attending the event for the first hour (10 am on Saturday 25th) or the last hour (9 to 10 am on Sunday 26th) - when we will all walk together.  Or you can walk/run for any hour during the 24 hours.   We aim to have at least one person walking in each of the 24 hours - and of course it would be good if there were more than one person at a time.  People can come to the event at any stage - and leave after a while.  We will have a tent for anyone who wants to stay overnight.  There will be special "Live for Helen" T-shirts that we can wear to identify ourselves as part the team.
