Walking for Helen, Walking for Hope
This year, I’m proud to take part in Relay For Life as part of a community initiative to honour the memory of Helen Gordon.
Helen faced her three-year journey with cancer with strength and grace, before passing in 2021 at just 76 years of age. She was a gifted artist and craftsperson who gave so much of her time and energy to support women and children across communities in Western Australia. Her creativity, kindness, and generosity continue to inspire us all.
I also walk in memory of family and friends who lost their battles, in solidarity with those who are still fighting, and in celebration of the survivors who give us hope.
Every step we take together at Relay For Life brings us closer to a world without cancer. Thank you for standing alongside me in this fight. With your support, we can make powerful strides against cancer.
