I'm stepping up against cancer!

This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for every person who’s ever heard the words: “you have cancer”. In 2024, more than 150, 000 Australians will receive the news. Among them are our friends, families and colleagues.

Cancer is a devastating disease for so many. For people living with cancer, their treatments can be long and stressful. For those without solutions, the future can be uncertain. It’s a concern shared by their loved ones.

But with your support, I hope to help as many people impacted by cancer as possible. Together, we can support families when they need it most, empower people to reduce their risk, speak up for communities, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.

Every step I take is one closer to a cancer free future. But I can’t do it alone! Please donate to my Relay today and together, we can help Cancer Council provide life-changing support services, advocacy, prevention and research across Australia.

Ive decided to participate again in the Launceston 2026 Relay For Life in March, to honour my Father Terry, who passed away from terminal cancer almost a year ago, on January 6th of 2025.
I have also linked up with my good work friend Craig who sadly lost his beautiful wife Tania, just 6 months later, to this terrible disease.
We have created the Team "Shining Stars" to represent those who we have lost. Those who are shining their light down on us, reflecting themselves as stars in our teary eyes, whilst we look up to them for their guidance on our journeys, which we must navigate without them.
If you or someone you know would like to be a part of our team, please feel free to reach out, and I can provide you with more information on the relay and send you an invite to join our team.
With Relay For Life Australia we are challenging our team to walk for 12 straight hours, in honour of our loved ones taken too soon, whilst banding together to raise vital funds.
Every dollar raised goes to Cancer Council Tasmania, and stays in Tasmania, to fund lifesaving research, prevention, advocacy and support programs that help everyone impacted by cancer.
