Cancer, the unwanted gift that keeps on giving. The treatment of cancer is harsh, it makes you sick, it makes you tired, it makes you feel horrible. For survivors the long term effects can be felt even years later as new concerns arise. Research is the key in not only increasing the rates of survival but in decreasing the complications that treatment causes. I relay so that one day cancer won't have such a devastating effect on the lives that is touches.
