I'm stepping up against cancer!
This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for every person who’s ever heard the words: “you have cancer”. In 2023, more than 134, 000 Australians will receive the news. Among them are our friends, families and colleagues.
Everyone has their own stories and experiences with Cancer. I have family and friends who have either defeated or been defeated by it.
There is one person in particular that I grew up with. She was loving, caring, and a mother figure to all. She was there for me in times of need - the first (and only) time that I skipped school, when I got my L's, when being bullied at school got me down. This was many years ago and I don't feel I tell her story or say her name nearly as much as she deserves...This one is for you Tanya!
