I'm stepping up against cancer!

This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for every person who’s ever heard the words: “you have cancer”. In 2024, more than 150, 000 Australians will receive the news. Among them are our friends, families and colleagues.

Cancer is a devastating disease for so many. For people living with cancer, their treatments can be long and stressful. For those without solutions, the future can be uncertain. It’s a concern shared by their loved ones.

But with your support, I hope to help as many people impacted by cancer as possible. Together, we can support families when they need it most, empower people to reduce their risk, speak up for communities, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.

Every step I take is one closer to a cancer free future. But I can’t do it alone! Please donate to my Relay today and together, we can help Cancer Council provide life-changing support services, advocacy, prevention and research across Australia.

💜 Why We're Walking. Why We're Fundraising. 💜

This year, the Hope Loan Arrangers team will be taking part in the Cancer Council's Relay For Life.

Our reason is deeply personal.

In December 2025, we lost our dear colleague and friend, Dionne Lee, after a very short but incredibly courageous battle with cancer. Her passing left a hole in our team and in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dionne was someone who brought warmth, laughter, kindness and strength to every room she walked into. She touched so many lives, and not a day goes by that she isn't remembered.

This Relay For Life holds even greater significance because Dionne's 50th birthday would have been just two days before the event.

So, we are walking in her honour.

We are walking for the memories, the conversations, the friendship, and the many moments we wish we'd had more of.

We are walking for every family affected by cancer.

And we are fundraising to support the Cancer Council's vital work in research, prevention programs and support services, helping create a future where more people survive cancer and fewer families experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love.
