Relay For Life - Matthew Skelton

I'm stepping up against cancer!

This year I’m taking part in Relay For Life, a 24-hour walkathon supporting the incredible work of the Cancer Council.

From 10am Saturday 28 March to 10am Sunday 29 March, I’ll be walking continuously with my team, aiming to beat the 63 km I completed last year. Every lap represents support, remembrance, and hope for those affected by cancer.

This year is especially meaningful to me. I’ll be walking in honour of my grandmother who recently lost to cancer. It’s a reminder of why events like this matter so much, to fund research, support patients and families, and work towards a future with fewer lives impacted by this disease.

Helps us provide sun protection advice and resources to kids through our SunSmart Schools Program, reducing their risk of skin cancer.

Pays for a cancer nurse to be available on 13 11 20 to offer support to those in need.

Helps people affected by cancer get the information they need via our 13 11 20 Information and Support line.
