This year, I'm stepping up against cancer!

Hi, my name is Maggie and I am 11 years old. This year I’m stepping up to cancer for my mum, Lou, my grandpa, my aunty Sarah and all the other people affected by cancer.

I think its important to fight against cancer because its hard for the person affected but also hard for the people around them. No one should go through that.  

When my mum had cancer I was about 2 years old so I don’t remember that well but I do remember the frequent hospital visits and how hard it was to come home and my mum not be there. I am so grateful that my mum is here today.

I love doing things for the greater good. Its fun to do something you love with your friends and family and also know you’re doing it for a good cause.

And that’s why I’m doing relay for life this year.💜
