My motivation.
For 2026 I am extremely honoured to participate in my second consecutive Relay for Life event for both Peter Moyes Anglican Community School and as an individual.Cancer is such an extremely devastating disease affecting millions worldwide, not only those who have it, but surrounding loved ones too ultimately being one of the single most damaging conditions one can experience - both first and second hand, physically and emotionally.
I've not only seen cancer affect immediate family, but also loved ones close to me, causing struggle and emotional pain making it so incredibly awful to think about the toll that it has had to so many people both inside and out of the group of peers that surround me.
I wish to both provide awareness and support for everyone affected, and to carry on the memory of all lost family and friends, with a hopeful mindset that we can fight against cancer and to subsequently find a cure one day through commitment, dedication and passion.
