I'm stepping up against cancer!

This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life and organising a team of willing walkers in loving memory of our dear friend Ronnie who participated the event while undergoing cancer treatment herself.  Since Ronnie's passing I have had it in my heart to participate in this event in her honour and memory.  It has been such a joy thinking of her and remembering her friendship while organising this awesome team of willing walkers and fund raisers!  

I will also be remembering close family and friends in the UK and thanking the Lord for my friends here in Australia who are survivors of this cruel disease and have experienced the amazing support of the Cancer Council.  

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles."  Isiah 40 v 31.

Cancer is a devastating disease for so many. For people living with cancer, their treatments can be long and stressful. For those without solutions, the future can be uncertain. It’s a concern shared by their loved ones.

With your support, I hope to help as many people impacted by cancer as possible. Together, we can support families when they need it most, empower people to reduce their risk, speak up for communities, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.
