I'm stepping up against cancer!

This year, I’m taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for every person who’s ever heard the words: “you have cancer”. 

In 2023, more than 134, 000 Australians will receive this news. Among them are our friends, families, and colleagues. Among them are their friends, families, and colleagues, and so on and so forth. 

Now, I know you're busy being human beings, but I've got a little mission and a big ask. I'm not saying I'm on a quest to outshine the stars, but if we happen to out-donate the constellation budget, well, who am I to stand in the way of celestial generosity?

Most of Australia’s change end up in a storm drain, stuck to some gum or on the floor of your car, so why not make some change with your change. 

Picture this: for the price of a cup of fancy coffee, you could be an honorary sidekick in the battle against the Big C. I'm talking about the kind of sidekick who gets a personalized theme song. A sidekick to some of our strongest superheros- fighters, families, carers, and survivors. 

But wait, there's more! If I am able to hit my goal I promise to wear a ridiculous costume for a lap of our relay and then every lap after that for every ten dollars over the goal I achieve. Spoiler alert: it might involve glitter, capes, and a questionable wig. Your donation isn't just supporting cancer research; it's funding quality entertainment!

Now, I don't want to pressure anyone, but I've heard that the universe has a way of rewarding those who step up against cancer with good vibes, karma points, and the sudden ability to find matching socks effortlessly.

Together, let's not just conquer cancer; let's make it regret the day it crossed our paths
