Cancer impacts so many of us, and this year, we’re fighting back. Our team are taking on Relay For Life to raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer.
In Australia, around 134,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year. They could be our loved ones, our colleagues, or even ourselves. But we’re determined to make sure more people (and their families!) get the support they need.
In 2024, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been blessed to have won her fight. But we know that many are not so fortunate. Mum and I now run this team hand in hand, and giving back to our community in this very personal way means the absolute world to us. Cancer's cruel hand touches too many lives; we won't stop until the chilling words 'you have cancer' are never heard by another human being again.
The funds we raise go directly to the Cancer Council and help offer support services to families through one of the most difficult times of their lives.
