Every lap tells a story

As medical students, we have the privilege of learning how to care for people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Throughout our training, we've already met patients and families whose lives have been changed by cancer. Their courage, resilience, and hope inspire us every day.

This year, we're taking part in Relay For Life to honour those we have loved, support those currently facing cancer, and remember those we have lost.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps Cancer Council provide essential support services, fund life-changing research, advocate for better cancer care, and work towards a future where fewer people are affected by this disease.

As tomorrow's doctors, we know that the impact of cancer extends far beyond a diagnosis. The funds raised today have the potential to improve the care, treatments, and support available to the patients and families we will one day have the privilege of caring for.
