😁 Exciting announcement… This is a very long post, please read for important info on how to be involved in this amazing day!

We’re excited to introduce our first fundraiser for 2024 Hobart Relay For Life. This is going to be an event that will continue into the future to raise much needed awareness and funds for Cancer Council Tasmania.

🗓️ Sunday 7th May 2023 is approaching, for those who don’t know what the significance of this date is, it is going to be two years since Carolyn Birch lost her battle on 07/05/2021 at the age of 50 from metastatic breast cancer. Carolyn’s family have continued to show resilience as they have been going through difficult times of grief with adjusting to life without their beloved Carolyn.

🎀 Sunday the 7th of May 2023 is ‘Do it Pink for Caz Day’ Caz was know by all of her friends and family as a caring, beautiful and remarkable woman.

We’re asking our community to turn the online community pink on May 7th in memory of Carolyn. If you have something pink wear it, it might be pink lipstick, pink costume or clothes that have hints of pink on them! Wear them to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Obviously this is a fundraiser to raise much needed funds for cancer research and the programs that are offered by Cancer Council Tasmania, so we request you make a donation to our 2024 Hobart Relay For Life fundraising page. We’re Back Bigger and Better in 2024

Welcome to 'In Loving Memory of Carolyn Birch'! We are a team participating in the 2024 Relay For Life in Hobart, and we are proud to be doing this for the third year in a row.

Our team is a tribute to our beloved mother, Carolyn Birch, who passed away in May 2021 from Metastatic Breast Cancer at the young age of 50. Our family decided to join the relay to raise funds for cancer research and support services in the hope of making a difference in our community.

Relay For Life is an opportunity for us to join hands and take a stand against cancer. We're determined to make a positive impact by raising awareness and funds for Cancer Council Tasmania to support people affected by cancer.

We're aiming high, and with your support, we know we can achieve our goal of raising funds and awareness for Relay For Life. Each year, thousands of Australians participate in Relays across Australia, and we're proud to be part of that movement.

Cancer touches all of us, and this year, we're fighting back. Around 134,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in Australia, and we want to make sure that everyone impacted by cancer gets the support they need.
