Global Heroes of Hope 2017

The Australian Relay For Life community is celebrating 4 Global Heroes of Hope from around the country. Global Heroes of Hope are extraordinary cancer survivors who represent courageous voices of hope in our communities.

Danny Brombal and Rod Coy from NSW, Judy Robertson from WA, and Paige Bowshire from SA have been recognised by the American Cancer Society for their ongoing commitment and passion for Relay For Life demonstrated throughout the years.

As Global Heroes of Hope, Danny, Rod, Judy and Paige will represent their local Cancer Council’s Relay For Life and share their cancer story.  They will demonstrate the many ways people can fight back against cancer and advocate for local, national and global public policy. Most of all, our Global Heroes of Hope will provide hope to their respective Relay For Life events as well as all Relayers in Australia, encouraging support and participation in Relay.

We will share the inspiring stories of our Global Heroes of hope over the coming days to inspire and motivate our Relay community!
