I relay because...
I want to make a difference and help get us closer to a cancer free future.
The relay is over and I have ran the 60km not stop in the early hours of Saturday morning in 6hr 43min. I thank all that have supported me so far and am so happy with the total raised so far and even more happy that it is continuing to tick over towards my new target of $4220 (42.2km in a marathon)
(I am committing to run 60km through the night non-stop, then any extra with anyone that turns up outside midnight to 7am. Having last year got 7 years clear of my own battle and seeing many others in their own at various ages, anything I can raise, I am grateful for.)
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in Australia, and together we can change that. Cancer Council’s Relay For Life raises funds for research, prevention and support services for those affected by cancer.
